Oracle has released a second beta of upcoming VirtualBox 3.2.0, the open source desktop virtualisation application for x86 hardware.

Opera Software now has a preview of Opera Mobile 10 for Nokia’s Maemo mobile OS. The build has the same features available in Opera Mobile 10 for Symbian and Windows Mobile smartphones, that is, fast browsing with Opera Turbo, Bookmark and Speed Dial sync, multitask with tabs. More
Mozilla has just pushed out an upgrade of it’s desktop email client, Thunderbird. Thunderbird 3.1 beta 2 with many experimental features is now available for download. If you’re using the previous version, Thunderbird 3.1 beta, upgrades are already available via the Update Manager.
Thunderbird 3.1 Beta 2 is built atop of the Gecko 1.9.2 platform. Stability and memory issues have been addressed, the UI has also been re-touched to improve the design. Mozilla says the main goal of this release is to find out about possible problems caused by the changes in the underlying Gecko 1.9.2 platform. More
Mozilla has just released a security and stability update to Firefox 3.6.x. Firefox 3.6.4 beta 3 fixes 182 bugs, 20 are considered critical, in previous Firefox 3.6.x builds, across all supported platforms, Ubuntu Lucid included. The update package is already available via Firefox’s update manager for Firefox 3.6.x users – you can also download the beta directly from Mozilla’s all-beta web page.
Opera 10.5x now has builds for Linux desktops, the very first beta version of Opera 10.5x brand, Opera 10.53 has been released. To better integrate with major Linux desktops, Opera had to drop Qt, the end result is an Opera that seamlessly fits on your Ubuntu, Kubuntu – KDE, and Gnome based Linux operating systems. More
