Newly released Firefox 3.6.6 increases the amount of time Firefox plugins are allowed to be non-responsive before being terminated. In recently released Firefox 3.6.4 (now updated to 3.6.6) non-responsive out-of-process Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime or Microsoft Silverlight plug-ins were terminated only after 10 seconds. In Firefox 3.6.6 non-responsive plug-ins are terminated after 40 seconds, so gamers and users with older, slower computers don’t suffer premature termination of out-of-process plug-ins. More
Opera has released a release candidate of its next browser release, 10.60. Almost complete Opera 10.60 features support for royalty-free WebM video, HTML5 offline web apps, and Geolocation.
