WordPress 2.6 has been officially released today July 15, the release anticipates the scheduled release date by a month. WordPress 2.6 aka “Tyner” can now be downloaded from the WordPress official site (you’re always advised to download it from the official website for security reasons) if you want to carry-out an upgrade or a fresh installation.
