The Firefox 3.6 Beta saga goes on. Episode 4 a.k.a Firefox 3.6 beta 4 adds a 100+ fixes pack to previous Firefox 3.6 beta 3.

– New in this version is the support for HTML 5 File API; “it’s now possible for web content to ask the user to select local files, then read the contents of those files. This selection can be done by either using an HTML input element, or by drag and drop.”

XBMC Media Center 9.11 leaves Alpha to Beta and introduces Confluence as the new default skin to replace the PM3.HD skin that now becomes an ordinary skin.
– XBMC developers ask translators to pay particular attention to XBMC settings and Confluence skin when translating.

For Windows, Mac and Linux: Thunderbird 3.0 Release Candidate 1 is now available for download, for all platforms. Most of the features in this release are already present in the beta releases liked Tabbed emails, New Search with Advanced Filtering Tools, message archiving, the Activity Manager and more. Opera 10.10 is finally leaves beta to final without any major changes. You can now safely upgrade your betas to Opera 10.10 final plus Opera Unite via the update manager in Ubuntu or via Help -> Check for Updates in Windows.
