Account Manager is an experimental Firefox extension that lets you login and logout of web sites by clicking the Account Manager button to ‘Connect’ and ‘Disconnect’ from your online account. It makes the whole damn process of getting in-and-out of web sites easy. The project went public a month ago but then testing wasn’t possible . Now you can try it on web services like Facebook, Google, Mozilla Add-ons, Yahoo and a few others, provided Firefox is enabled to store your passwords. Account Manager for Firefox is not customizable — for now.
Mozilla intends to eventually integrate Account Manager into Firefox as an in-built feature, now you can have it as a free to download Firefox add-on.

Mozilla’s Firefox-mobile browser, “Fennec” now has a pre-alpha version for Android devices. This early build is aimed at getting feedback from the community. According to the developers, Fennec “Android” has been tested only on the Motorola Droidand Google’s Nexus One.
Whilst some bugs might cause your phone to stop responding, requiring a reboot, and memory usage of this build is not at its best, you can get a taste of sync with an experimental version of Weave Sync (click Experimental version)
Fennec pre-alpha has no automated updates – to upgrade to future version you’ll have to uninstall it and re-install the newer version. This build requires Android 2.0 or above, and likely an OpenGL ES 2.0 capable device. Hit the link below to download it on your Android driven OS or simply type in this address in your phone’s browser: bit.ly/fennec-android.

BitLet is a web-based BitTorrent client that makes BitTorrent available to the occasional user, and to those who can’t install a regular BitTorrent client like µTorrent or Transmission on their computers. No configuration is needed to use BitLet, just drop-in the URL of the torrent file and you’ll get a pop-up window that shows the download speed, download bar, number of seeders, and a download status led that signals potential problems. (see screenshot above). Anyway if you default settings are not OK for you, then go to BitLet Settings where you can modify BitLet’s incoming connection port and maximum upload rate. More»

If you couldn’t resist testing the first ever Firefox (Firefox 3.6.3 ‘Lorentz’ ) that runs plug-ins in separate processes, then its time for you to upgrade to Firefox 3.6.4 beta that like Firefox 3.6.3 provides “uninterrupted browsing for Windows and Linux users when there is a crash in the Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime or Microsoft Silverlight plug-ins”. Firefox 3.6.4 also fixes several security and stability issues found in FF 3.6.3. Altogether 167 bugs were fixed, 15 were marked as critical – 1 of the critical bugs particularly affected Ubuntu Lucid Lynx users.
Updates are already available via the automatic update, Help -> Check for Updates or download it at Mozilla’s website
