In the browser war, the trio Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer try to sort out which one amongst them is “the good”, which one is “the bad” or which one is “the ugly”. For Open Source lovers and web designers, it is rather easy to say which one is “the bad” one. In some cases all three could be good or not just good enough. Get a pre-beta Google Chrome 2.0 at GOOG, and test for yourself the new cutting-edge or so features it now includes. Form Autocomplete is now part of it like in Firefox and many other browsers.
Full page zoom that resizes images, embedded objects and text. Autoscrolling from left to right and Up and Down. It also includes partial support for Greasemonkey scripts. More»

Mozilla Firefox is the newest sponsor of the StopBadware.org project, that has amongst other sponsor big names like Google, PayPal, Lenovo, AOL and Trend Micro. These companies together with StopBadware.org form a common front in the fight against the proliferation of badware in the web.
StopBadware.org is a Harvard University initiative to protect Internet and computer users from the threats to privacy and security that are caused by bad software.
