The famous duo, Mozilla Firefox browser and PortableApps.com launcher are by now standards in the techie world. Together, they come to your aclass where there is no doctor sorry Firefox.
They come along with your bookmarks, settings and extensions. And when it’s time to go, they (Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition) leave behind no personal information on the machine you ran it on.

Firefox 3.5 Preview is not a direct download, you can obtain it via an update of Firefox 3.5 Beta 4, from the Help -> Check For Updates menu. Firefox 3.5 preview release aims at fixing stability and JavaScript issues. It also offers better support for Ogg-coded audio and video codecs.

“DON’T DOWNLOAD THEM!”: Google has made available Chrome browser for Mac and Linux on its Chromium blog, but it does not advise you to download them – – this early version for Linux is said to be incomplete and unpredictable.
If you still want to test and try Chrome on your Intel Ubuntu 9.04 box, then hit the direct download link and get the .Deb file.
