In Firefox 3 Bookmarks and browsing History are stored in SQLite databases. Like any other database, the SQLite databases get fragmented with time, added to that, your default history time span in Firefox 3.5 was increased from 9 to 90 days. These increase the possibility of having a bloated and cumbersome database which subsequently leads to a performance hit; slow access times -- that nobody wants. More»

Mozilla has updated its mobile edition of the Firefox browser for smaller non-PC devices like mobile phone devices and PDAs.

Unofficial community-made Google Chrome browser extensions keep pouring in. I just came across the Session Saver extension which brings session saving and managing to Google Chrome. The Chrome extension is said to work in Google Chrome 3 and Google Chrome 4 dev builds. More»

Google Chrome Dev Channel version 4.0.201.1 now has a new feature: bookmark syncing. Add the flag: --enable-sync whilst starting Chrome, then move to Wrench -> Sync my bookmarks.
