To install Grishenko – – its code name, on Ubuntu Hardy , you’ll have to completely remove the old version with sudo apt-get remove vlc vlc-nox. Then add the following lines Here to your repository, then reload with sudo apt-get update. finally install with sudo apt-get install vlc vlc-nox.
The Ubuntu Update Manager will ask you if or not to install dependencies relative to VLC, take yes.
