Chrome for Linux Gets Plug-In Support
The good news is that you can now pick-up your Chrome for Linux, point it to vclasseo websites like YouTube, Hulu, YouPorn, Google Vclasseos, Daily Motion, Metacafe and watch vclasseos. I’m not talking of Crossover Chromium.
Chrome for Linux, developer version now supports third party plug-ins like flash and others that i still have to find-out. Though the Flash plug-in is partly implemented and can cause crashes, it works.
If this pushes you to give it a try, the easy way get it in your Ubuntu based Pc is by the following PPA to your repository.
1 2 | deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepclass main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepclass main |
and authenticate with
1 | sudo apt-key adv –recv-keys –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 4E5E17B5 |
now install from your terminal with sudo apt-get install chromium-browser and still from the command-line run with
1 | chromium-browser –enable-plugins |
to enable plugins.
The recent update also has a new explanatory welcome page, working with Tabs Pages is a delight, duplicating Tabs is fun; much better than months back. Chrome for Linux gets better day after day.

Chromium is an open source browser project. Google Chrome is a browser from Google, based on the Chromium project. What’s the difference??? None
