    Ekiga the in-built Gnome softphone remains my favourite, nonetheless, it is a bit buggy and should be improved

    I actually figured out the answer to my question above (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUZOQsNo_ws), but after doing an apt-get update, I still can’t find qutecom package. What could I be doing wrong?

    @ IRHA: Well after authenticating the PPA with the key, do
    sudo apt-get install qutecom from the command-line. after that you can do
    sudo apt-get update. Now you’ll find Qutecom at
    Applications -> Internet -> QuteCom

    Hi,

    first of all I want to thank you for the mini-tutorial, but, is it possible to use this in Debian Lenny?

    I tried it, but I get the following errors in the command line:

    Problems with dependencies:
    qutecom: Depends: libavcodec1d (>= 0.cvs20070307), but it’s not instalable
    Depends: libavutil1d (>= 0.cvs20070307) but it’s not instalable
    Depends: libgnutls13 (>= 2.0.4-0) but it’s not instalable
    Depends: libswscale1d (>= 0.cvs20070307) but it’s not instalable

    The point is that I have these libraries, however they’are in more modern versions. I don’t Know what to do, please help, and thank you again.

    @PACO: Hi, I’ve been looking into it, I’m not sure you can get it up and running on Debian Lenny. Try X-lite or Asterisk
